YourSpace Activity Club

YourSpace is a new Activity and Social Club due to start in late November 2011 for children and young adults aged 8 to 19 who have a diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum condition. The Club is part of the Black Park Chapel Project and runs alongside the aims of "Every Disabled child matters".

We promote the thought and vision that every child and young person, regardless of disability, should be given the same opportunities to experience and enjoy, and this forms the heart of our mission statement. Our passion to assist in the development of this is relentless.

Mission Statement

"Your Space" seeks to provide a safe and fun place for children and young people with an Autistic Spectrum Condition to engage in meaningful activities and feel supported. Its aims include giving opportunities for them to:

• Enjoy and have fun
• Feel secure
• Gain and promote friendships
• Develop independence
• Be safe and happy
